Hello all,

I'm going to build the AMZ JFET splitter as soon as my parts arrive. I was wondering if there's a need or benefit to using insulated(plastic) jacks...just not sure if it's required or desired. Thanks!

I've just had a look at the schem over at Jack's site and can't see any reason why the sockets would need to be plastic.
Grounding the rings to the enclosure eliminates some extra ground wires too.

Why were you thinking about plastic jacks?

Thanks Manny,
I donno what I was thinking...brain still in my morning fog. Insulated just doesn't make any sense at all now that I think about it. I was thinking along the lines of having isolated grounds but no grounds would be an even bigger mistake...duh. Thanks!
