LFO to control pot

I want to add an LFO to a feedback loop box.  Essentially have an LFO control a 500KA pot.  If possible I would like multiple waveform options or at least square and triangle.  Any suggestions on how to go about this?  Thanks.

If you want to have an LFO control a resistance, then the simplest way is to use an LED/LDR combo. LFO lights LED, which alters resistance in the LDR.

As for the LFO, there are many options. Look up the LFO that is used in the uglyface mods. A google search for LFO designs will get you some results as will searching this forum.
