Whenever I order from Tayda, I find I need to add/remove stuff from the cart in order the get the best parts/shipping cost ratio. But for some reason the shipping cost really jumps up when adding potentiometers.
I highly recommend checking out their prices on PT2399, TL072, NE5532, 2n3904, LEDs, DIP sockets (leaf spring type). All very good prices. Also, don't miss the $0.67 SIP sockets for transistors.
I only wish they carried a greater variety of metal film resistors.

Coool! My one ordering experience with them was very satisfying.

It gets more reasonable once you put together a larger order. They're not a place to score little bits here and there. They're mainly the place to order a 50-something ICs and a couple handfuls of pots from. :)

Thank you for posting this.  I've been wanting to order from these guys for a while now and have a better excuse!   :D

Hey question for you guys that have ordered from them before:  Are all their pots pin-mount instead of solder lug?  I can't tell from these pics.  I'd like solder lug.  Thanks

Well humbug.  I should have waited to place my stock-up order.

My last order shipped from Maine if I remember right.  I'll check the box when I get home tonight.  It shipped in a USPS medium flat rate box.

Nice. I placed 2 HUGE orders with them in the summer and was incredibly happy. Might be time to grab another dozen PT2399s!

Hey, what do ya'll think of those green caps they sell? Any good?

Seriously though, $.01 metal film resistors with no minimum? Yeah. You want that.

*edit* I noticed that their stock is pretty minimal for metal film, but carbon film is the same price, and they have a ton of values. One-cent a la carte resistors. Seriously.

Thanks for sharing this. I was planning on ordering from them next time I needed some pots and stuff, and the discount just makes it sweeter.

They're of a range of pin spacings depending on vale, but v. cheap for film caps.

I actually use the same kind of pots from Futurlec. I bend the pins into little hooks, then mash 'em down with the wire inside before soldering. Haven't had a failure yet!
