Anyone else tried a BMP Tone Control in a SD-1?

I did today, for kicks.  Tried a BMP style tonestack in an SD-1.  Still underwhelmed with the tone control.  Still too much emphasis on the clean mids.  Of course, it knocked the output down considerably, but it was about the same as using the standard tonestack w/ a .027/390R combo.

Just thought I'd share.  I searched and didn't find anyone else who's tried it.  But the circuit looked like it would invite it, so I figured wth.
