I am trying to find a good lfo circuit that I can add to effects.  Ideally with some different waveforms.  THanks.

Hi
You can use sections of a 4049 to oscillate square wave, integrate to a triangle, and then clip to a pseudo-sine wave.
search for it, either here or on the web - it so simple it seems impossible

If you want loads of controls, check out the tremulus lune LFO. Otherwise, +1 to brett's suggestion.

How does that look? I love the idea that using a 4049 instead of a dual op-amp could give you a pseudo-sine LFO rather than a triangle.

Does that require you to bias it on or will it work with typical 9v?

I got it from a synth website; they tend to use bipolar supplies. I would connect to Vref with a 1M resistor.

If someone with a scope would try it out and find out what the p-p value is of the sine wave I'd appreciate it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, opamp schmitt trigger / integrator oscillators are my favourite. You can get nice square and triangle waveforms out of them, plus you can easily mod them for symmetry.
