I've heard of people stacking op amps in pedals. What is the result or desired effect of doing this? Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, the goal is to double the current. They'd use the same voltage supplies, take the same input, and spit out to the same output.

i'd try it it causes hum ang it will lower the gain " in Od and dist"

I tried to stack opamp in my Morley wah...hm....it increased hum and output level became a little bit higher and nothing more. After that I replaced original PCB with Jfet version of CryBaby which sounds much better, nevermind if the original PCB had only single opamp installed, or the opamp was stacked with another one.

if the in (inverting, non inverting), the positive, the negative, the outs, etc. are all joined, then can you LITERALLY stack them ontop of each other on the board and solder one into the next like the human centipede? i have a feeling the feedback networks should not be joined though....
