GGG Russian Muff - Volume Loss

Well, it's up and running. 



I got a new LED and a 2k2 resistor. As noted before, I was reading the same voltage (about on both ends of R27. Where I added the 2k2 before the positive LED lead, I got 8V yet again. But at least it lit up. This told me that something is off in the way I'm testing the resistance. I can read different voltages on the opposite sides of some resistors on the board, just not all of them. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Fortunately, that question is just academic for now since the pedal works. I tested it against my original Russian muff and they are just about identical. Now I have the same sound in a tiny enclosure and I can send the big guy off to ebay to pay for some other expenses.
