need help with opto isolator datasheet specs

i need to replace the 5- vtl5c3 opto isolators in my crate vintage club 30 combo amp that deals with channel switching. my whole goal is to leave it on the the clean channel at all times, i will not be switching channels often so i dont care if it lags on the switching by a second. but i am looking for a cheaper replacement possibly. in the for sale\trade forum i tried to buy some of the correct opto isolators from someone who had extra... i also gained knowledge that a nsl-32 opto isolator may work. i attempted to read the data sheets myself, but can not seem to grasp the jist of what i need.

can someone please help me to  know if this opto isolator could be a acceptable replacement?

I belive you need to try to match the dark resistance, the light resistance, the response time, and Led forward votage. Those are all in the data sheet electrcal characteristics. The dimensions nned to be the same also, or very close. Small Bear should know of a replacement. Have you tried to e-mail him? He sells the VTL5C3 for $5.75 ea.

the fact that these are linked together tells me that these opto isolators should be interchangeable. opinions anybody? i struggle with datasheets

any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
