If the mic/mixer thing works, they are.
Thinly veiled suggestion to tell more about the mic-xer...sounds pretty cool.
GEO Tech of FF and the how to "choose GE transistors for effects" sorts them out, otherwise 2sbxx is a good number if there ever was one, but that's a batch/Mfr. number so doesn't tell much about the suitability of the individual units [they vary..].
So...chances are good since it's a high-hit rate # printed on it, but even more because you'll be the first one to get yer grubby mitts [inside joke] on it since it was installed back when.
I have a radio with 7 Ge's down there, but I have FF's and don't feel the need to tear it up. Ge's have been known to pickup transmissions from future and especially the past so I like to have those in the reciever, the nifty gadget has that certain character tone to it...I thought about cobbling and input say transmitter...lol.

PRR

2SB75 -- PNP germanium alloy transistor intended as AF pre-amplifier.
25V, 100mA, 150mW, hFE near 60, fT 2Mc, complementary to 2SD75
Typical radio-part. High-class clock-radio plan below.
May work dandy in any old-skool Ge PNP pedal.

ill post some pics of the mic mixer for you guys. i am a distortion junkie and would like to have a proper FF....

If I had a circuit that worked and looked like the one PRR showed...
I'd definitely consider sourcing the Ge's later/elsewhere while checking the audio amp w/transformers out as a studio gem effect.

Is it this one?

I repaired one of these as it says on Fuzzcental's site. It sounds OK but not with any bass or drums. I also bought a bag of Hitachi 2SB158 transistors which have a gain of around 60-65, no hiss and are great for the first two transistors in a tonebender or singly in a rangemaster etc. I only had one dud in the whole bag.

Other MOJO stuff in there including carbon comp resistors
