hey guys!
I've built cathexis's easyvibe+lera.
(you can find the vero layout here:http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/cathexis/Veroboard+Layouts/Easy+Vibe+LERA/Easy+Vibe+_+LERA.jpg.html )
it works but the speed is stuck at the max; I can set the speed 1 or 2 down but it's still "rotates" at max speed no matter what.
even the ramp up/down doesn't work...
the soldered circuit is checked and is 100% correct.
I only made a little adaptation:the 470k pot is now a 500k...
Does anyone have an idea?
I checked the circuit so much that my eyes are burning!  :icon_eek:
thanks for your help!

ok, I plugged a regular 9v adapter to see if a regulated voltage do the trick...
The 10k pots begins to exhaust smoke! (brand new pots)...
Then I checked 5 times if my wiring was right...and it is!
has anyone verified the wiring of the pots on the scheme?

This won't help much, but I also had smoking pots when I built it. I debugged for weeks. Then gave up. The pots still worked after at least, so I used them on something else... I really wanted that circuit to work! Good luck.

yeah. maybe you could get some help at the same time! :)
anyway, i'm verifying the actual veroboard, comparing it to the original schemo from goefex...
What I can say for now is that i'm not a veroboard fan...
All is good till now but I should miss something...
the veroboard is known to work...
