Rebote 2.5 (soldersound) with taptation

Anyone who can help me fix this??? I hooked up a Rebote 2.5 etched PCB (the soldersound "copy cat") with a taptation (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=86294.180) (rev B stripboard with delay time and pwm). I get no sound when engaged but have sound in bypass. Here's what I know so far:

All the 7805's are correctly oriented and spitting out 5V.
The chips are all good. I have a pt-80 which works fine and swapped the chips, and it works fine.

The way I hooked it up is by taking out R7 and adding the taptation circuit directly there (lug 6 of the PT2399.) Any other mods I need to do to make this thing work?
