Hi friends!! I have made the fet twin by medved for a preamp and it is my clean channel.
It's fantastic and have a cool sound but the output volume is very very loud!!!
I have used the j201 jfe instead kp303. The volume output is too much high...can i reduce it???
How i can do it?

Try a 10-50k resistor betwwen C7 and the pot.

"short out" = join both ends of the component so that it no longer affects the circuit.

You can leave it in or take it out as long as there's a bit of wire between each end.

and a fender mid pot is usually 10k so it'll be more twin sounding set at 0-4 or so... :) i'd love to hear some clean clips... just low gain to high gain type stuff... :) twins get a little fatter in the mids aS you crank em up, but dont have a real heavy distorted tone...
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!
