I need an external AC power supply for a curbside-find practice amp I am reviving for my son. I need 230VAC (Euro plug) in and 12VAC out. I can't find any AC to AC wallwarts at Mouser at all, so can anyone make a recommendation for a source? Also, is there such a thing as a "switchmode" supply for AC--something that will run on 120 as well as 230V? And, if so, how do I avoid noise problems with sitching supplies that aren't (like the 1-Spot) designed for this purpose, i.e what do I look for in a data sheet?

AC-out with universal 120/230 input is unlikely.

If you are "reviving", follow inside to the rectifier and learn what the internal DC voltage(s) is/are. That may be easier to handle.

Thanks, Paul. I forgot about Jameco. This is a minimalist intervention, so at most I expect to put in a new power jack and replace a scratchy pot. But I suppose it can't hurt to check voltages, too.

Nope. No Euro-plugs or 230v primaries at Jameco.
