The Tayda looks like caps are ten cents.

I pay 2 cents for my resistors so maybe I'm getting ripped off but I pay 7 cents for ceramics.
I usually don't like ceramics though and buy the metal films.

My main point was that you can just walk into the shop and buy what you need rather than waiting for something from overseas and hoping you go everything in the order.

There is nothing better than buying in person, but Tayda stuff arrives usually in 7-14 days and all my orders have been 100% complete...and they even have decent customer service....and common trans are 10 for .29 and the pots come out to around .80 including shipping.

I'm not far from springvale so is altronics a walk in retail store? or is that just a distribution centre/offices?

also another dumb question, hope I'm not pushing my luck.  I've been doing some research into the boggie circuit.  It seems the 2 main versions are the Gaussmarkov and the Bucksears version.  I tried to work out the difference, and read that they have different tonestacks, can anyone outline what the major difference in the end result would be?
