Is there anyway to change the font in Eaglecad, other than the stock fonts.

I'm trying to waddle my way through learning eagle but i don't see a way to do this. I know its possible, I have seen it in madbeans layouts. I would also like when i etch the board the font is a void in the copper (fonts would be located in the ground pour), but just being able to change the font would be awesome.

I actually add text to the PCB image in Photoshop. It's a lot faster than importing an image into Eagle.

How do you make the area within the outlined letters void so that when you etch the pcb you have the ground pour with the copper missing where your letters are?

Easy, just use white text and place it somewhere in the ground pour. It'll be etched away with the other copper.

Any easy way to do it when it's going to a fab?

The only way I know is to create the text in an image editor, save it as a BMP then import into Eagle to your silkscreen layer. There's a ULP for adding a BMP image. There's a tutorial out there somewhere, but I don't remember where I saw it.

Anyway, I've done that successfully a couple of times.
