Insanity Box vero?

Hi all,

I just had a brain fart... I was just about to go and start drawing up a vero of the Insanity Box. I figured I would just check if anyone had already done a layout, before i go torturing myself for hours on end.

Yeah, I read some info, and heard some clips. This sucker seems to have some serious juice. Here are some clips off the net;

I was fine tuning my DOF yesterday, and I managed to get a "sweeter" sweet spot insofar as the gating is concerned. It really sustains well now. With a bit of volume, I can sing any note into feedback. I'm not talking extreme volume here, just enough that the note can take off. As a trade off, I did gain a bit of noise, but it's still quieter than a Fuzz or Rangemaster, so it's quite acceptable.

Anyway, I've already started the vero. I'll give you a heads up when it's done.

hah i found that page yesterday but didn't figure out the clips were in the right

nice, I myself checked the stores and couldn't get anything for Logan 5 the DOF thing won't fit into my enclosure, getting a new one is gonna cost a bunch so I'm yet keeping it back

also I built a fuzz factory with BC558 instead of the Ges and it didn't work, swapped one with a 2n3906 and didn't work, and for the lolz I put 2n3906 in place of 2n3904 and 2 2n3904s in place of the Ges and that thing took off at once! oscillating like crazy, seet at some settings, fuzzy at the other. also could manage to get some 8 bit sounds along with octave down effect. this thing is awesome. Gonna drill the other enclosure for this one. 12 holes, it's gonna be a tight fit

Well, I scoured the net, but no luck on the Insanity Box vero, so I drew one up last night.



The picture quality isn't great. This is the new version 3 of DIY Creator, and the image export isn't as good as version 2. If you want it, I can email the DIY file to you instead.
Check it through carefully! I haven't built it yet, but I've traced it to the schem's and diagram. I'm pretty sure I haven't missed anything... but you never know.
It's a big board, but it's as tight as I could get it on short notice. I'm sure if I stare at it long enough, I could tighten things up. But, that would require time off work  . In any case, it's about the same size as a Skyripper, so I'll probably have a lot of fun squeezing this sucker into a BB.
