These are useful for some Boscorelli projects, but also for several excellent projects from PAiA such as the Stereo Compressor and the "Hiss-Whacker".

oh yes, sorry, I didn't mention their utility in some stompbox project, I was thinking that most people here were aware about it.

They are out of production from some years now and I think they are hard to find.

Some ARE aware, but I think there are probably a great many for whom various SSM chip numbers do not ring a bell quite as loudly.

If you have been thinking about maybe buying a HUSH noise system for your rig, it is possible to make one (or something similar) out of this 2-channel chip.  I got myself two or 3 of those chips some time back, so I don't need any myself, but I would recommend them to others.  Do yourself and Lionel a favour, and make him an offer.
