Hi,

I just bought a broken phase 90.
I had distorsion on bypass and also with the effect on. Moreover I had no phasing.
Across the zener I had 0V so I replaced it and now I have about 4.5V, which seems ok ... but still no phasing.

When I move the trimpot, I can hear some phasing. I read on the forum the trimpot voltage should go to 0V from 4.5V, but mine goes only from 0.71V to 3.75V ... what's wrong here ?

TL064 voltages seems ok
1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14 = 4.32V
3, 5, 10, 12 = 4.29V
4 = 9.37V = voltage of my power supply
11 = 0

TL062 voltages are not
1 4.32  ok
2 4.32  ok
3 2.12  should be 4.32V
4 0  ok
5 4.84    I
6 3 .59   I >> 5, 6 & 7 should oscillate, 7 from 2 to 7V (read on the forum)
7 8.78    I
8 9.37   ok

Q1
4.32
3.74
2.6

Q2-Q5
4.29
4.32
1.65

Why the LFO is not working ? Could be a bad TL062 which will explain the wrong voltage on 2, 5, 6 and 7 ? Or does a bad component could explain these bad voltages ?

Finally the rate pot seems stock but it's a 47KA !  :icon_eek:

Thanks !

I got it !
The trace between rate lug 3 and R16 was gone !  :icon_eek:
That's explain why the LFO didn't work.

Next steps TBP and some mods. It's not so easy to set the trimpot ... you turn, you like, then you decide to turn to see how it sounds, and oh great too ... so you go back, hum it sounds ok too ...  :icon_lol:
