saw these badboys on ebay going for a dollar each. they have a record and play button, mic speaker and 10sec recordtime. (theres even a led that lights on when you record)
is it easy to build a lofilooper with one of these guys? what would be an easy way to make your sample loop and maybe a function to lock your record mode..
prob easiest with a onoff switch for the record button :)

any ideas? just sharing my thought..

but how about the volume of the in and output.. if you change it for guitarsignal.. well.. im ordering a dozen or so.. free shipping as well

need to work the continious loop function and maybe some sort of preamping if needed..

By the time you add the logic for looping and the buffering, etc. necessary to make it a pedal, you'll have duplicated The Tone God's ISD-based Payback loopers, but in a less convenient format. My personal suggestion would be to wait until his Payback 2.0 is published.

well.. got ten of these badboys in my mailbox yesterday.. cost me about 13 euros totaal.. :) im using some of them in a noise box as a simple sample feature.
although they're cheap they're actually pretty decent..

they come with batteries and are fully installed. if you push the play button for the first time you can hear a chinese woman say something (probably test)
i hooked up a jack in and out and got some lofi distorted loops.. the main ic is covered in goop.. but in the corner i found a mod for speed.. i drew a very ugly mod on the pic below.. the only downside is that it also records in the different speed.. and the components can break from overheating very easily..

oh well.. just sharing this..
