Fuzz face and dunlop wah input impedances?

Hi guys,

I know they are low but does anybody have figures for these please? ive been looking online with no luck  ???

It among the others depends also on the transistors used. I figured out 7k for typical Si FF.

LTSpice says 33k for a Ge Fuzz Face and 720k for the Original Crybaby. Still, it would be better to test these out.

If you have both pedals, you can use Craig Anderton's Impedance Tester and it will give you an approximate number. It will give you some idea of what is going on.

That would be the buffered CB, 720k is fairly solid input imp.

Oops. That wasn't the buffered Crybaby but I calculated it wrong. The Crybaby's around 87k.

That's pretty bad. You'll definitely notice anything under 200K. The worst tone sucking pedal I ever had was a vintage Vox wah pedal. I true bypassed that thing as soon as I got it!
