what pedal layout to build? couple tl072 and jrc4558 layin around.

so a buddy of mine walked thru the bar parking lot and found a smash practice amp . so he gave it to me . its got 2 jrc4558 and tl072 and ive gota lot o spare parts from it . i got tired of digging thru layouts and not finding somthin equiped with it . ive got 2n2222 and 2n3904 layin around and plenty of diodes and all that jazz . any suggestions for a pedal runnin this stuff somthin switchy and with a tone control of sorts .  thanks guys!

pretty much any dual op amp based overdrive can be built with what you've got. Also, an Orange Squeezer with the 4558.

Big Cheese/great cheddar is my favorite fuzz that you can make with those parts.

cool ill go for big cheese do you have a vero layout for it i didnt find it in library other than a finished pcb style . im kinda noobish. 5 diy pedals under my belt. thanks for the help

make a clean blend pedal with the tl072. its a send and return in parallel with your tl072. a 25k or 50k pot on the output to crossfade between the two.

for the 4558. I would do a suhr riot. there are a lot of parts though so it may be a pain to do on perf. its still doable though. what nice distortion. those transistors you have can be used in even more fuzz pedals. so really you can make 4 pedals right now.

Go to runoffgrooves.com and build a Mockman 2.0.  This is a great sounding distortion pedal that is based of off Bostons guitarists Rockman series.
