Non-working Big Muff? Help?

So I was messing with my Civil War Big Muff today by adding a mids control and a voltage control.  They both worked, however I didn't notice any large change in tone, so I decided to remove them.  Now the pedal doesnt work.  I think its a power issue, but I'm not sure exactly.
