I am currently building a combo box that will consist of the following: Input-->Tonemender (http://www.runoffgroove.com/tonemender.html) -->Condor Cab Sim (http://www.runoffgroove.com/condor.html) -->Speaker Saturation Simulator(http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/STMs-Circuit-Ideas/Speaker_Saturation_Simulator.gif.html) --> output. All three will have true bypass wiring 3PDT switches.  My question is concerning how to power these from a single 9v supply (prob make one of smallbear's "wall wart" kits). Could I just run them in parallel or should I add some filtering/isolation?  The ultimate goal is to use this as a pre amp before my firewire I/O card going into the computer. Thanks!

Any 9v adaptor that puts out enough current should work.
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

Just starting out these diy things and I'm wondering, where do you put this in your chain? Just finished building the Ruby amp so is this combo box after the Ruby? What's the point of making this, if you know what I mean :D And OP (or anyone else), have you made that box already, how did you solve those power issues?

Hello,
I'm currently building a multi effect type unit as well. The old book  Electronic Projects for Musicians by Craig Anderton, has some interesting solutions. Ground wires can have a bus, and power needs to be in series.

With all love and respect to Craig, the power supply in that book is set up in ways that I would not do now, given the ready availability of OEM parts that were not common when he wrote EPFM. For example, you would want a three-wire module for the AC input and plastic power jacks. Yea, the Small Warts were my answer for being able to power a few pedals reliably and quietly.
