is this easy to accomplish.. maybe with the help of a 555 timer?

Hey,

I think the baby ten sequencer is what you're looking for. It uses an atari punk console for the tone generator so you'd just have to remove that. I'll try to dig upa schematic somewhere but if you google it on the net you should find no problemo.
