Im making a loop pedal with tails switch. I have a vero layout. I have it near complete. My problem is it needs 10n and 100n caps.
I have them both in ceramics. Am i able to use them or do i need the greenie type caps?

I take it you're talking about my looper, if so ceramics will be fine.

DonB

Yeah its your looper Slacker. (sorry i forgot it was yours).
Thanks for the reply. I will have the board done today then.

Ok have the board mostly populated now. Just waiting on some 10K resistors. If they dont arrive today i might try 2 4k7 resistors in series and see how that goes.
Its a pain in the ass when you are only 3 resistors away from a finished board...

The value of R2 and R3 isn't very important, they just both need to be the same value, you can just use 4k7 instead of 10k, or any two matching resistors between 1k and 100k or so.
4k7 should be ok for R6, or two in series, or any value you've got around 10k will work fine.

Thanks Slacker. I cant wait to try your looper out...

Having trouble wiring this up. Can you use 3pdt switch instead of a dpdt as this is what i have? Just getting bad earthing sound and nothing else.

Ok heres how i wired it...

Input tip to in, ground to input ring. input ring to send ring to switch Ground (middle pole)
Out to output tip, ground to output ring. output ring to return ring.

9v ground to extra tab on input.
