... would you recommend to come close to the sound in 'come back' by the Foo Fighters?

Any ideas? I have a lovely custom built amp with great fender cleans and now I want to get rocking like the Foos!

I'm no expert on 'em...but it sounds more like a fuzz(face) to me? Muddiness suggests neck pick.
