I added and led and true bypassed it even though the schem called for a 2pdt i did a 3pdt and wired the LED with a 4.7k resistor

It's a pigeon fx fuzz board.

I built a pigeon fx fuzz face.

another person also posted a pigeon fx FF on ILF

I really like how it came out. I want to build another.

I'm pretty far from being an expert, but I've had problems with a 3PDT switch where I've applied too much heat whilst soldering and it has karked it. If your LED is not lighting up, that's a pretty good indicator that your off board wiring is incorrect, or the switch is not working.

Trace the LED wiring back and see if there is a problem there. Also I am pretty much a noob so I can't really suss it out from the pictures, but think about how the 3PDT actually works and trace the circuit through it to make sure you have wired it correctly. Even if you have copied it off a site or something, people sometimes make mistakes so it's always good to be able to get your head around it :)

This is my version of off board wiring along with the switching of a 3PDT. you can use it to trace which parts of the circuit are active at any one time. I hope this helps!

The two bare switches at the bottom of that last picture are very confusing: Are they supposed to represent the two states of the switch with red indicating connected pairs of lugs? Because if so, it does not match the wired switch above. With the switch lugs aligned horizontally, the central row are the common connections:

You're absolutely right. I put this together quickly from two different pictures and that was a complete oversight! Thanks for correcting me on that one.
