Passive L-Pad question.

Hi.

I have some questions about Eminence PX 100W L-PAD.

Where can I use it?

Lets say I have 8 ohm L-Pad, connected between 100W tube amp and 8 ohm speaker. Can I use the whole range of L-Pad?

Or should I buy higher wattage L-Pad in this case? Will it cool itself down or some heatsinks or fans are needed?
