I have read that the new mxr pedals with the red PCB are not easy to mod or repair. However I had the gumption to try some mods anyways.

One thing I tried was to replace the LED. I have now replaced it and tested it but have no luck. I'm assuming that this is because the PCB has two layers and my solder iron pulled some of the tracings.

I was wondering if I use some wire to solder to the correct components if this would work and if so where they would go. The positive of the LED looks like it goes to the switch but the negative I cannot seem to trace. Any help would be much appreciated as I a, new to electronics but very enthusiastic to learn.

to a resistor attached to the +V of the PCB.

This worked perfectly and I was able to switch out the LED. Now I just wish I had a blue LED laying around because it would look so much cooler. : 8)
