I have decided what my first project will be. I am going to take the EH Screaming Bird and the EH The Mole and combine them into a single boost box where I can turn both on separately or at the same time. My plan was to combine the two circuits via a Telecaster toggle switch and use a 3pdp switch for the true bypass. (Fender Strat Knobs for added flair and shenanigans ;D)
Only real problem is I am a noob and this is my fist build/mod/anything-to-do-with-a-pedal-save-chaning-the-battery. I do not understand how true bypass works, nor do I understand how to properly wire it. these are the schematics I have;

and here is the article I have been reading on true bypass:

This is all very confusing. Where on the switch do I attach everything, and where do the switch leads go to on the circuit. Once I get the Schematic figured out I should be OK.
Also, I take it I should keep the two circuits separate and connect them only at the switch?

Hi,

The best practical way to achieve what you want (either boost 1, or 2 or both` both have signal LEDs) is in my opinion to use two 3pdt footswitches. Not sure how one would achieve it with a guitar switch. But maybe it's possible.
As you say it's your very first project, I would probably advice you to go one step at a time, to make the Screaming Bird working than the bassboost and see if they work and you like them. Rewiring them together is then quite easy.

For info on true bypass wiring see here: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=970.0 or here http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/tech-pages/51-switching-and-wiring/33-many-bypass-switching-options
