Noise reduction

I just love how WMD's Geiger Counter is perfectly gated ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSwFICq-Okc ). Is there a way to make my completely noiseless?

That would depend on:
a) how much noise the unit itself contributes
b) what the properties of the input signal are likely to be
c) what the uit might do to any input signal received
d) the extent to which any strong attempts to reduce noise of any type interferes with proper functioning or usability.
