Just as I finished my pedal I noticed that my stab pot wasn't quite right so I decided to change that. Unfortunately when I put everything back I must have shorted my circuit on the not so insulating foam tape.  :icon_evil: (saw some smoke from my stab pot.)

Now I've got around 8.7 volts on the C B and E of both my Germaniums.
My  2n3904 measures E:0.00v B:0.68v C:2.00v.
Did I just destroy my precious germanium's?

[edit]
It makes a slightly fuzzy sound but when I put my fingers on the circuit board and it starts oscillating.
I can't change the volume either.
And i noticed that one resistor (the one in between the two germanium's) touched both the housings of the Germanium's.
[/edit]

PLEASE HELP!!  :icon_cry:

Did you remember to cut where you need to on the veroboard? Dumb question, but I nearly did that.
