hi, I'm making the Kay tremolo effect from general guitar gadgets. it worked fine when i breadboarded it. but now i have soldered it to my board its not outputting any signal at all. I'm not using a PCB. I'm using perfboard. i have checked over it all and it seems to be all ok...

4.Any modifications to the circuit?  N
5.Any parts substitutions? BC550 transistors used
6.Positive ground to negative ground conversion?no

Voltage at the circuit board end of the red battery lead =9v
Voltage at the circuit board end of the black battery lead =9v

Q1 (on the far right)
C = 8.99v
B = 0.64v
E = 0v

Q2 (top one of the two linked in the center)
C= 0.01v
B= 0.54v
E= 0.01v

Q3 (bottom one of the two linked in the center)
C= 0.01v
B= 0.54v
E= 0v

Q4 (far left)
C= 1.12v
B= 0.67v
E= 0v

thanks guys. eagerly await your responses.

Both the red and black battery leads are 9V? Power wiring problem?

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
