oddball resistor question

so i am performing a mod on a boss pedal, and the mod calls for a 46k resistor.  i know this, because i have purchased the mod kit previously to see what it included, and it came with a metal film resistor that was yellow/blue/black/red.  would a 47k work, or should i try to get closer with 2 combined resistors

i have a 39k and a 6.8k i could put in series which would be closer than the 47k

I HIGHLY doubt 1k will make a difference. If you measure, you may find a 47k that measures 46k because all parts have a tolerance.
