Ok this isn't a pedal but I couldn't a forum for DIYamps...   :D

So I recently came across one of these in a local vintage guitar shop a couple days ago. I caught my attention because it had a yellow sticky note on it that read "The Tone God lives in here."
I tried searching some demos on the net but it seems this particular amp was primarily used for bass... But I haven't been able to play it myself yet, so I am asking if this is a good amp to use with a guitar instead of a bass?
Now I see a few of these listed on ebay for $250-1700, so I'd rather build this with a schematic and stuff.

Pic of it in the store (sorry for the blurriness!)

you may have to tweek it for guitar, seams to have a lot of low end at low volume..

try ampage.. -->http://music-electronics-forum.com/f10/

The have smart people also, some of the same people, but others..

The beauty of these is the full and rich bass tone at low volume. Plug in and no matter where the knobs are, it sounds right. That said, what makes B15s and SVTs great bass amps, I have hated them on guitars. Some people might disagree, but I just find them ugly on guitars.

There were some schematic changes over the years, but here is a representative one:

This is a later one with the 5AR4 rectifier.  The inverter used in this amp will add some second harmonic to the signal - good for bass, not as necessary for guitar but usable for both.
