...to have ICs and transistors (and other board mount type components) co-exist with eyelet/turret board construction?

More specifically, I built a tube amp on turet board, and want to experiment with bringing in some support circuitry that would normally go on PCB or perf. My initial thought is to moumnt them separately on a board and screw it to the chasis then jump over to it with wire.

Just wondering if there is a clean(er) way to do it....

you could do a hybrid style, where you mount the transistors etc, on a small perf, then solder leads to it at the ends of the board and solder the whole board via the leads ,like its one part, to the turret board....
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!

Could you drill your vero/pcb with holes and design your layout to "stack onto the turret board?

Just a thought  ;D

You can also do PCB with turrets on the board.
