... this is a most excellent circuit ! ... it's got plenty of headroom for clean sounds and a pleasant amount of crunch for dirtier tones ... it responds really well to your guitar's volume control ... ( i'm currently testing with normal output humbuckers ) ...

for this build, i used the recommended component values ... for Cx, i settled for 8.2nF ... i imagine that if i was running the circuit at large-stage volume levels, a lower value capacitor would probably be fine ...

i'm also powering the circuit with two 9 volt batteries

so for anyone interested in playing with transistor circuits, this is a really cool one ! ... thanks to the folks at ROG for providing the circuit

used the Supreaux Deux on a gig last night:   using a fairly clean sound on the amp, i set the Deux up for a good amount of crunch ... i was then able to go from crystal clean to louder+crunchy using just the volume pot on the guitar ...
