Hi there! I've built a Death by audio Fuzz War that i can't get to work. The main problem is that i can't see where the " signal in" is on the veroboard-layout.

I've used this scheme/layout: http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i293/rnfr/?action=view&current=FUZZWARVERO.png

At the moment it doesn't work at all. My signal doesn't pass in bypass mode. When engaged, there's only a loud hum and not even the LED works. Given that I sort of guessed where to put the in-wire it's not to mysterious. I figuered however that describing it might be of some use

First hole on the left of the second row.

However, if you're not getting a bypass signal or a lit LED, your switch wiring is off as well.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

Hello ,

The signal input it probably on the left at the second strip  from top - it goes to C1.
If you have no bypassed signal, you got your wiring wrong somewhere. I like to start to test my pedal with the input/output jack connected directly to the board input/output. So I can make sure problems don't come from bypass wiring mistakes.
Keep in mind that the layout states that it is unverified. Unless somebody verified it somewhere, you can't be sure that it will work even if you  did everything right.
When you have an unverified layout it is good to start witch checking it against the schematic first. If you're a beginner this could not be so easy, so I would recommend starting with an easier circuit and come back to this fuzz when you gain some experience.

I know that there's a chance that the cicuit doesn't but i might as well give it a try. Gonna try putting "in" in the right row first.

About the wiring. I used beavis audio setup: http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/SchematicToReality/fig8.1.gif

I am however using 2 mono jacks instead of a stereo input jack. I thought i could regard the sleve and ring on the input as just the sleve and therfore as the same ground. Is this wrong?

Also, the out from the board. Is it only through the volume pot or should it be an additional out-conection?

ty for your help
