Tubes in a wah?

 :icon_idea:This came to me the other night. Can you run a wah with a 12au7 tube or any other tube. I was thinking instead of using transistor, Why not tubes. I haven't tried any thing yet but can it be done. I'm not sure if this has been done yet but it might sound really cool or a waste of time you'll never get back. Has anyone tried anything like this?
