500, 250, or 100?

Hello, I just made a feedback loop and I was wondering about the size of the feedback potentiometer that I should use.
Is 100k too little?
Or is 500k too much?

Thoughts or suggestions?

Wire everything up but the pot and use test leads to try each one out.
