Rumour has it that the MS2 circuit can sound very much like a " warm plexi " etc etc ....

Has anyone else played with this type of circuit ?
Is there a similar type out there on vero ?

Johan

they do sound surpricingly good for what it is, if you plug a 4x12 into the the headphones jack( just halfway thou, otherwise you short the signal to ground, ring to sleeve) internal speaker is crap.
it's just a boost stage into a "power"-ic  I think it was a KIA7313, but iut was a long time ago..
for a proximation, think LPB1 into LM386 set at low gain.

Has this been done in the pedal market ?
Does any company sell a close type circuit ?

Wiring between 510r resistor and HP jack looks dubious. The speaker should connect to the 220u cap without any large added resistance.

The preamp up to the 0.1u cap looks functional, could sound interesting, but surely won't duplicate all the soundz in a full Plexi.

The power-amp is almost exactly the chip datasheet test circuit, except it has been slugged-down for only like 95Hz-4KHz bandwidth.
