Good stuff.  Remember some versions of the Tonbender use a Darlington Pair.  ;)

Very interesting thread ! How would one put a pnp darlington pair in to basic FF Q1 or Q2 ? Is it possible ? I have a lots of low gain/low leak russian ge transistors that I would like to try in a FF circuit as an darlington pair for more gain.
