I used a great little sony camcorder for this.... was 1080i... it looks and sounds crap on the tube sorry, but ya get the idea

I don't usually record with old strings either. Sorry. I dunno... I'm just trying to contribute something. Show ya'll what i've been up to i guess

Tweed's last section could be simplified, though. Too many series resistors.

True about the series resistors



Professor Tweed is partially on breadboard, hence the series resistors. The two 10k's are still soldered in. I clipped the 2n2 caps. Refinement will come when it get's an enclosure i guess! (Or not, coz it works. (I mean, it will get an enclosure. Just maybe there will be some off board components ))




Uploading this pic is pleading guilty to not including everything on the schematic. However, the bright/dark switch is set to bright (last cap is removed from circuit). The so called contour knob is described on the GGG page


Here is my Fetzer in a Mint Box
It uses a 2n5484 jFet
I calculated the appropriate resistor values using the ROG calculator, and replaced the Pot with appropriate resistors achieving ~unity gain

Oh yeah, forgot to mention... The amp is a '93 Marshall Valvestate 8280 2x12 combo. Mosfet power section, Mosfet pre-amp with a 12ax7 in the "drive channel" only. Since i'm using the clean channel... The signal path is entirely solid state

Again: amazing tone there, man.

I think you should design a new board combining those two circuits and then box it up in a single enclosure with two 3PDTs (on/off, boost). I'm sure people would be more interested that way.

and then she has the nerve to tell me about her friends bs..etc...i'll never fathom women out!.
