Hi there

I recently bought a faulty memory boy off eBay. I was hoping it would just be a faulty switch but the led works ok and the blend knob does blend in the clean signal but there's no delayed signal. The clean signal passes through if the blend knob is turned anti clockwise but there is no delay happening at all. With the blend know fully clockwise there is no sound.

I had a look inside and there aren't any obvious missing, detached and fried components/wires. I also checked a few of the blank holes on the PCB against the same rev PCB posted on another forum.

I've googled and found a couple of people on forums mentioning a similar fault but there isn't a conclusion.

I thought id see If anyone on here has any ideas. Maybe some of the more experienced members/full time techies might have come across this problem before?!

It's nearly all surface mount stuff inside so I'm not sure how much I'd be able to do anyway but I thought I'd see if anyone could help.

Anyway if you think you might be able to help me or help me help myself give me a shout!

Many thanks
Ross

I'd use an audio probe and follow the signal path, starting at the input and working to the output. Where your signal stops your problem lies!

I'll probably have to wait till the weekend but I'll give it a crack.

Cheers for the reply!
