Battery operation : No go . With cable in .
Center negative 9.7v adapter : LED short illumination . ( Even without cable in )
Center negative 9.7v adapter : with cable in , no go .
Results ? Smells the same , but something's blown .
First startup ... blown .
God , help me .
Somebody ... guide me  :icon_mrgreen: ?

  The continuity and insulation of the +/- of the Power Supply connections is where I'd start.

I'll change it  ;D
Update : Those idiots at the china factory didn't solder the 330 ohm resistor and the led had a solder bridge direct to ground , so it got a full 9V .  :icon_mrgreen:
Replaced it with a 5mm Clear Blue and now it works .
