well ive seen old forums of the "clone wars" on this pedal and im looking to make one of my own. i have a few different references that to help me with this build, and ive actually just need help debugging it.
when i turn on the pedal it has a high pitched ossilating/whiney noise, and the clipping leds light up. then when i start playing it goes away but comes back the second i stop. when i turn the gain down and/or the volume down it goes away, but then its too quiet to play. sounds like a feedback issue, but it could also be something internally. i want to try fixing it. could it be a grounding issue?

i just have a few questions if anyone wants too help look at these pcb's and schematics.

heres the link to the one i made: http://schematic.exteen.com/little-green-wonder-layout
What goes right below the 2 clipping leds, where there isnt anything assigned?
and for the 2sk170, ill have to flip the S and the G on it correct?
see anything else wrong with this layout compared to the actual schematic? here's the real schematic:

those 2 solder pads below the LEDs are there in case the user wants to use a different diodes for clipping
