i've just finished my DIY DS1 pedal and it sounds OK.
But i wanted to mod/upgrade it to Keeley mod to make it sound more cool!
its very rare to find metal film resistors here in our country and based on the Keeley mod it have these on the list:
2.4KΩ metal film resistor.
20KΩ metal film resistor.
1.5KΩ metal film resistor. (this one i was able to find, exact value)
below are the only metal resistors that i can find: (can i use them instead, without compromising the sound??)
2.7K or 2.2K instead of 2.4K ??
22K or 15K instead of 20K ??

what would be the possible effect using these replacements? sorry for the newbie question, its just that i am not  an electronics professional, i just love building DIYs and knows how to solder and basic electronics. thanks in advanced!!

btw, just to add, when it says "metal film capacitor", i can use the "boxed" metal film capacitor right?? are the panasonic film caps a metal film caps as well??

I would just use the ones that are closest to the correct values, it will not make any difference to the sound.

Yes you can use boxed metal film caps or any film caps.
