As I draw near to finishing my A/DA from moosapotamus (top quality board BTW!) I was pondering the existance of the "Control Pedal."

I have found no concrete info regarding this external control other than assumptions and postings about "possible" releases from A/DA.

Therefore I am left to my wits and creativity  :o  Uh... Oh!!!

I am thinking that a passive expression pedal with a 100K or 200K pot would do. I figure that the Manual control (which is bypassed and sent through the external Control pedal) is a 10K pot so a 100K/200K pot with the treadle travel should cover that resistance range.

Thoughts?

That's what I was thinking/hoping as well. Coincidentally, I'm almost done with mine, which is the rev2 SAD1024 version. What was I waiting for? I dunno... but it's that expression pedal option that made me want one to begin with.

I recently asked Charlie if he had any more of the SAD boards... He doesn't  :'(

I am working off of the 3007-based board (Rev 5 I think  ???)

As for the expression pedal. I was just thinking in advance. First thing is to get this monster up and running and trimmed to perfection  :icon_eek:

I hear that! Back in the monster TZF thread, it was said that calibrating it isn't really a big deal... let's hope so...

BTW, got mine years ago... when the SAD1024 was still available but pricy.

FYI, the pedal that I've used with it has a 20K pot in it, and that seemed to worked well.
