Tube mounting question

I am thinking of doing a tube based project and I was wondering if anybody has any good (cheap) ideas for mounting the tube. I generally just use perfboard for my projects.  Do those PC board tube sockets work with perf?

most tube sockets come with mounting hardware for chassis/external - show off your toobs! check out the pictures thread for ideas, protection may be required for pedal board stomping.

Cheap as chips (try eBay) and with a bit of judicious bending you can fit them in perf without mangling your tube pins.
