Using a 'soft click' stomp switch ?

I'm curious to know how easy it would be to stop using the loud clicking 3PDT switches for the soft clicking (2PDT?) ones.
I think the soft clicking switches are momentary, so it would mean electronic switching. what are the solutions for this? does anyone have a schematic?

Pls take a look at the BOSS stompboxes schematics. They use momentary switches and simple key fixing circuitry in almost all of their gadgets.
